Exterior

Paint and Bodywork

Examination of the paint's quality, uniformity, and any signs of repainting. The bodywork is checked for rust, dents, scratches, and misalignment of panels.

Chassis and Frame

The structural integrity of the chassis and frame is inspected for rust, corrosion, or signs of past repairs.

Glass and Trim

The condition of the windows, mirrors, chrome trim, and other exterior details is assessed, looking for cracks, chips, or fading.

Wheels and Tires

The tires are checked for wear, correct size, and age, while the wheels are inspected for damage, rust, or aftermarket modifications.

Mechanical

Engine

The engine is inspected for cleanliness, leaks, and correct operation. This includes checking the oil level and condition, belts, hoses, and any signs of overheating or unusual noises.

Transmission and Drivetrain

The transmission is checked for smooth shifting, and the drivetrain components, including the driveshaft and differential, are inspected for leaks or wear.

Suspension and Steering

The suspension system, including shocks, struts, and springs, is examined for wear, while the steering components are checked for play, alignment, and ease of turning.

Brakes

The condition of the seats, door panels, headliner, and carpeting is reviewed, looking for tears, stains, fading, or signs of wear.
